Configuration

Configuration

Broadcast Power relies on a set of .config files to store application settings.

In this section we will cover the different .config files in details.

For the sake of completeness, it is worth mentioning that switching control from one server to another requires write access to the .config file. This design is intentional. You would not want users of the system to modify application configuration without administrative supervision. Users who have the client application installed on laptops for mobile connectivity, should have access to the .config file.

Future versions of Broadcast Power might alter this design and allow remote control switching from the client for OS privileged users as well as non privileged users with proper Broadcast Power access rights.
